Elijah and Tickle Me Elmo

A New Experience
Tonight while grocery shopping, we decided to get one of those car grocery carts. The ones we have at Meijer have little tv's in them that play kids videos. It cost $1 to use and the money goes to The Children's Hospital, so we didn't feel bad spending the $1. Let me tell you - it was SO worth it! Elijah had so much fun and it was probably the easiest grocery shopping trip we've had!!! Here's some pictures of Elijah's fun!

I'm Stuck!
This was Eli the other day when he was playing and got stuck on his toy, but he was determined to keep playing!!
My Deal!
Today was the East Row Yard Sale here in Newport. We've gone the last few years and have fun going around to all the different houses. This year for some reason there weren't nearly as many yard sales, so we didn't really get much, but I was SO excited about my deal today! Of course, you are aware that Eli loves Elmo! Well, we found a Tickle Me Elmo, looking almost brand new, just in need of batteries (which we had in our pantry). The price for this FUN toy (which Vince was playing with during Eli's nap! ha)??
$1 - ONE DOLLAR!
Yup! That's right! They are normally $30-$40, so I was PSYCHED to get this deal of the day!!! It's funny - right after we bought it, Vince told me he felt there was going to be a blog about it! He knows me so well!!
Elijah's Birthday Party!!
Today was Elijah's birthday party! We had so much fun! We had a full house with family and friends helping us celebrate. Elijah had a good time and definitely enjoyed the presents and cake! Here's some photos from the day. To see them all, click here.

Country Music Lover
We were watching Nashville Star the other night, and during one song, Elijah started "dancing". It was so cute!! I lean towards country music, only after living in Nashville for a while! Vince makes fun of me, and I just love this video, because apparently Eli likes country too! he he he! He's so adorable!

On the phone with Daddy!
Yesterday when Vince was on his way home from work, Eli "talked" to Vince on the phone. I usually will put the phone up to his ear and have Vince talk to him, with Eli responding the best he knows how! Well, yesterday, he took the phone and was talking away! I'm glad I had my iPhone nearby so I could get these cute pictures!!

I had just made the bed in our den and noticed when I was walking by the room that the comforter was all messed up. Not knowing what was going on, I looked into the room. I noticed there was a big bump under the covers.
Then, I pulled the covers back to discover this:
Crazy Poppy! She spent the whole afternoon like this. I guess she wanted to curl up under the covers for her nap!
