Time Out

Not really, but Eli jumped in the cage one morning and just had a blast playing in there! He's a silly boy!

Where's Eli?

THERE HE IS!!!

Mmmmmm, Chocolate!

Chocolate is Eli's new favorite treat! He knows where it is in the candy dish and will run to it after dinner everynight and pull a piece out when he wants one! Well, I made brownies the other night, so I introduced him to licking the beaters! YUMMY!

The Girls

MIA

ALEX

I Love FREE!!

I picked up this great train set today from a fellow Freecycler!! It's in great condition and only missing a few minor extra pieces, nothing that keeps it from working. I brought it home and surprised Eli and Vince and him put it together. Eli loves it and is playing with it as I type! I love FREE!!!

As If Our Life Isn't Crazy Enough Already. . . . .

We adopted another dog tonight!! We've been talking about it for a little while, and we found a sweet little dog tonight. The dog we currently have, Alex, is about 12 years old. Her life expectancy is about 12-15 years. She's getting up there in years basically. So, we wanted to get another dog as a companion and to have around for when the time comes for her to pass. We also wanted to get another dog before having the baby so everyone was accustomed to everything going on in the house.

Well, we went to the shelter tonight, and looked around and looked at one dog, but he was SO hyper and a bit over the top. Then we looked at "Mama". She just recently had puppies and then was dropped off at the shelter. She was PERFECT. She's very mild mannered, well behaved, and so sweet. She's a Puggle, which is a Beagle/Pug mix. She's less than 30 pounds, and pretty "small". She's 2 years old, so this is as big as she's going to get.

We renamed her Mia since Mama wasn't working. Although, I've been calling her Mama Mia to get her a little bit more accustomed to her new name. Eli already loves her and we prayed and thanked Jesus for doggy Mia :-) Our dog Alex is still getting used to her, but soon enough they'll be the best of friends!!

Here's some pictures of our new addition!!

Ault Park

Last weekend we were trying to find something to do to get out of the house and not spend money :-) So, we went to a park that is pretty close to us (about 15 minutes). I have only been there once 6 years ago. Vince has been there several times. It was GREAT! It had a nice playground (although it was packed with kids), and walking trails, and a beautiful garden area. We'll definitely be going back, now that I know how to get there!!!
