I can't believe that Elijah is 3 years old! It seems like the time has gone SO fast, too fast if you ask me! Elijah is such a fun boy, full of life and non-stop energy! He makes me smile so much!
For Elijah's birthday, he wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese and see Toy Story 3, so we willingly obliged :-) When Eli woke up, I had a birthday banner in the living room and Toy Story balloons for him. He had his birthday donut waiting for him too. He was so excited. After breakfast, we got ready for the day, and went to Chuck E. Cheese for some fun and lunch. Eli had a blast playing the games and the pizza wasn't too bad either. Naps soon followed, and then Vince took Eli to his very first movie, Toy Story 3. Eli was very good and sat in his seat the whole time, watching the movie and eating popcorn. Then, we had McDonald's for dinner, and opened presents! Eli had a great day, and we all crashed hard when it was time to go to bed. Here are the pictures from the day!

Picture Overload!
I have WAY too many pictures of the boys to post here, so I'm going to post a slideshow of the album from my Picasa album. It's pictures taken with my cell phone while we're out and about and around the house!
Enjoy!

Creation Museum
A couple of weeks ago we were able to go to the Creation Museum. I had a buy one/get one free coupon, so why not! It was a fun time and Eli LOVED seeing the dinosaurs!

Ethan's 2nd Surgery Update
Ethan had his second surgery on May 12. It was a much more intense surgery and much more was done during this surgery. A month later, and it seems as if this surgery worked! Praise the Lord! We got to go home the same night and thankfully didn't have to stay overnight at the hospital. At Ethan's 1 weeks post-op appointment, some of the bandages were removed, and he was finally able to take a bath - yay! He has his one-month post-op appointment on Monday, so hopefully his surgeon will be pleased with the results and everything will be working how it's supposed to. I'm praying for NO MORE SURGERIES!!! Here's some pictures of us waiting for his surgery.

Ethan's Next Surgery
Hard to believe that my little baby is already 14 weeks old! Time has gone so fast. He's fast becoming one of those babies that smiles all the time! His smile is infectious and always makes me happy no matter what! With that being said, what doesn't make me happy, is that Ethan has to have surgery again. His first surgery that he had the end of February didn't fix the problem he's having. It's basically like the surgery didn't even make a difference. That's frustrating, because you never want to see your child go through pain. The Urologist is going to be doing a different procedure, a little more invasive this time. We are hoping and praying that this is the only surgery that he's going to need.
His surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, May 12. We won't know the time until the day before, but most likely in the early afternoon. We also won't know if he'll have to stay overnight or not until after the surgery. Since he was "premature" (2 weeks early), they've scheduled it as an overnight stay. BUT, he's also quite "healthy" at almost 16 pounds! Hopefully that means he'll be ok to go home after surgery. Please pray with us that that is the case. My cousin Sarah will be coming up from Maysville to watch Eli while we are at the surgery. Eli is so excited to see cousin Sarah and spend the day with her. If she only knew what she was getting herself into :-) We are so appreciative for our family and they help they are giving us during this time!
My heart hurts that Ethan has to have surgery again and that he has to have pain. I pray that this procedure works and that he will recover quickly and that the problem will be solved!
I will keep you updated on the outcome! Thank you all for your prayers in advance!

3 Months Already!
I can't believe that my little guy is already 3 months old!! It's been an amazing time with him in our world, and we are so blessed to have him! Here's some of his stats!
15 lbs, 5 oz
23 inches long
He's in the 95% for weight and 50% for height.
He smiles all the time and is almost sitting up by himself. He's usually a pretty happy baby (except when he's hungry)!
He had his first surgery back in February, and unfortunately, it didn't fix the problem, so he is going to be having surgery again on May 12. It will be a different procedure, and hopefully this time it will work and fix his problem. I'm so sad that he has to have surgery again, but I guess it's better that he has it now and won't remember what happened! We won't know if he has to stay overnight again until after the surgery. It just all depends on how the surgery goes and how he's doing after the anesthesia. So, please keep us in your prayers on May 12!
Here's some pictures of our little man!

Sesame Street Live
The weekend before I went back to work, Eli and I went on a date. I didn't tell Eli where we were going, just that he was going to have a date with Mommy! He was so excited! When we drove by the arena, Eli spotted the trailer with all the Sesame Street characters and asked if we could go! I told him that was where I date was to, and he got SO excited!
He got a little spoiled :-) He got an Elmo toy, a t-shirt, and Elmo balloon, and popcorn. He wanted to rush the stage and talk to all the characters. He was soooo cute and we had a blast!

Potty Training
Well, we're in the midst of potty training Eli and boy is it an adventure!! We've had our good days and bad days, but he's getting the hang of it and starting to do really well with it! Today he's had NO accidents - whoo hoo!
In order for Eli to be able to go to his preschool in the fall, he has to be potty trained. If that's not a motivation for him, nothing is! I made a potty training chart for him, so everytime he uses the potty, he gets a sticker, and when his chart is filled out, he gets a prize!
