My HILARIOUS son!

Last night Elijah was in rare form! We were doing our bedtime routine (Vince gives him his bottle, he then comes to me for some Mommy time, and then I put him in his crib). Well, last night, I was holding/burping him, and he decided to blow farts on my arm - you know where you make that fart noise with your mouth. He did a few here and there and it was so funny - it got Vince and me laughing pretty hard. Well, then Elijah was mastering the art of making fart noises with his mouth on my arm, and he was going to town on them, which in turn got Elijah laughing so hard! I think this is the hardest and longest I have heard Elijah laugh. He would throw his head back and laugh so hard, and then do more fart noises. My stomach hurt I was laughing so hard. Of course, I don't have any pictures or video (guess I should bring the video camera EVERYWHERE with me!). Take my word for it - it was hilarious and Elijah was having the best time. His laugh is SO contagious. I just love that little boy sooo much!

Just Riding Along!

We got this truck for Elijah a few weeks ago and it's one of those 3-stage things where he can use it when he's scooting, then when he's walking with assistance, and then when he's able to ride it. It's a lot of fun and makes truck noises, and he likes playing with that. He hasn't mastered the riding yet, actually, he's just barely mastering the walking with it! But, I tried to put him on it the other night, and he was having fun!

Not a happy camper!

The other night, Elijah was SOOOO tired, that he was just not happy. He was sitting in his walker, just zoning out, and then he would start pouting and then wimpering, and then would start crying. It was so pathetically cute (if that's even possible!) . Here he is mid-pout, about to cry. It was just so awful - he fell asleep soon after this for the night!

When I went to pick up Eli at my sister-in-law's house the other day, I walked into the family room to find this:




Elijah had fallen asleep on my nephew's chest, and slept that way for almost 2 hours! Wesley LOVES helping watch Elijah and Elijah loves his cousin Wesley! This was just too cute!

Summer Time!

Well, its summer time! YAY! We put Elijah down in the grass in our backyard the other day, and he really didn't know what to do! He sat in the same spot, not moving, for almost 10 minutes! It was hilarious. He wasn't quite sure about the feel of grass on his legs or in his hand. He was so cute!

Vera Bradley Spoiler Alert!

Ok - I absolutely LOVE Vera Bradley. I currently have at least 18 VB pieces, and cannot wait to get more! Here are the new fall colors that were out for a preview for a week. I can't wait until they are out in July so I can start bidding on new stuff on Ebay! (in case you haven't done this before, I have gotten MOST of my VB for at least 40-50% off! BRAND NEW! Answers to your questions . . ..

Ok - it's hard to answer back all your questions that are in comments, because I fear that you won't check back to see if I've responded or not - then I feel weird responding on your posts because what I say has nothing to do with what you posted about!! So, here are some answers to many of your recent questions!!

Q: Did Vince pick out the ring all by himself?

A: No - he had some assistance by yours truly!

Q: Was the ring your originally ring that was added on to?

A: No - this was a whole new BEAUTIFUL ring!

Q: Did the tattoo hurt?

A: Surprisingly, NO! I know some of you won't believe that, but it honestly didn't hurt. It was annoying at times with certain colors, but it wasn't painful at all. There were actually times when I almost fell asleep!!

Q: How long did the tattoo take?

A: About an hour - done before I really knew it!

Q: Will there be another tattoo if you have another baby?

A: YES! With each child, they will get a tattoo (good thing we're only planning on 2 kids!!).

Q: Did you design the tattoo?

A: Somewhat - I gave the artist the general idea that I wanted as well as some pictures, and this is what he came up with.

My Mother's Day Gift!

Today I got my Mother's Day gift from Vince! I decided several weeks ago that I wanted to get another tattoo for Mother's Day. So, I figured out the basic design that I wanted which has the "E" for Elijah and had the tattoo artist put it all together for me. I am SO happy with how it came out!
