Fun at the Apple Orchard

Today we had an adventure of a day! We had planned to go to the apple orchard to pick apples and get some apple cider and all those fall tradition types of things. Well, the day started out rough. The orchard we originally went to, didn't have pick-your-own apples. Grrr - so, then we had to drive another hour in another direction to get to another orchard. It was crazy, but we ended up having a fun time. This orchard was great - it had blue grass music playing (live), had some animals which Eli enjoyed seeing and it was packed! We got a lot of good apples and yummy cider! Vince had never been to an apple orchard, so it was fun for him too. We brought our nephew Wesley along too, and we all had fun! Starting of a new family tradition. Now I'm searching for apple recipes to do something with all the apples we have!!!
